SebastianXReader Two Demons Prologue

  The night draped itself across the sky, the only light coming from the moon and stars.  But even these were darkened by the fog that had rolled in, filling the streets of the city.  The lights from the lamp posts glowed eerily in the fog and every sound seemed amplified as they bounced off building walls, making the streets of London seem even more frightening.  Of course, this didn't faze you, no not in the least.  And why should it?  You were the most dangerous person walking the streets anyways…well, potentially the most dangerous person, or, thing, walking the streets.  You sighed, running a hand through your (h/l), unkempt and greasy (h/c) hair.  A dog barked off in the distance and your ears twitched in the direction of the sound.  Yes, your ears, cat ears to be precise.  See, you were born…..different.  A creature.  Not human.  You were born with cat ears and a tail.  For a while the ears and tail seemed to always stick around, but they would occasionally disappear, only to reappear later.  At first your parents tried to cover it up, you were their first child and they had been trying desperately to have one of their own for years, but when the full moon came, well, let's just say they weren't going to keep you around anymore.  So they threw you out onto the streets at an early age.  Maybe around three?  You couldn't remember, let alone care to remember.  You sighed again, letting your head hit the brick wall you were leaning against.
  
  'I'm a freak', you thought.  'A freak of nature.  No one will ever accept me for what I am.  People like me, just don't exist.' And that's what you believed.  Of course you knew about the stories of daemons and angles, shifters and werewolves and such, but you really didn't believe any of them existed.  Well, maybe the werewolves.  But other than that, no.
After several minutes of thinking about nothing you decided to wander around.  As if you hadn't done that before.  So, for a change in pace, you decided to head a little further out of town.  A change in scenery you know?  As you wandered around, you really weren't paying attention to where you were going.  You could see fine even with the thick fog, but you just weren't interested at the moment.  After a while of nothing but the sounds of the night away from the city, you noticed the sound of running water.  With the lack of clean water from the city, a little drink from a clean river sounded really nice right now.
  
  Following the sound you came across, not a river or a creek, but a marble fountain.  That's when you realized that you had stumbled into some ones garden.  A very big and well-kept garden.  A slight wind came in and as you watched, the fog parted, revealing a very big mansion to accompany the garden.

  'Why does anyone need a big mansion anyways?' You shrugged it off.  Some of the lights in the mansion were still on so someone was still awake.  Deciding you didn't want to be caught you decided to approach the fountain… in a different form.  Crouching down on all fours you began to change.  Your fingers and toes shrunk, your nails grew, and your body shrunk and elongated.  (f/c) fur sprouted all along your body and you turned into a small cat.  With the change complete, you silently padded over to the fountain and jumped up to drink the clean water.  With your thirst quenched you decided to take a little cat-nap before moving on, and so you curled into a little ball and fell asleep.  Unfortunately, you failed to notice the pair of red eyes watching you.
